Chamin is a highly credentialed mental health professional, mindfulness advocate, and workplace well-being expert.

A Diplomate of the Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator, and member of the Mindful Leader Advisory Council, Chamin brings over two decades of experience to promoting mental health and resilience in one-on-one, group and organizational settings. She is also a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program created by Jon Kabat-Zinn and a joyful, lifelong student of mindfulness.

As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, Boston University School of Social Work Online Instructor, and Board Member of the National Social Anxiety Center, Chamin combines her clinical expertise with passion for creating supportive, empowering environments. She is the award-winning author of Seeking Soulmate: Ditch the Dating Game and Find Real Connection, published by revered Zen Master and mindfulness expert Thich Nhat Hanh.

Chamin founded Chamin Ajjan Psychotherapy in 2011. The practice is WBENC, WOSB, NYC M/WBE, and SAM Certified, and has been named the National Social Anxiety Center’s Brooklyn Clinic. Chamin specializes in workplace well-being programs, offering services such as mindfulness training, stress management, leadership development, and more. Her approach integrates evidence-based therapies with mindfulness practices to foster healthier, more productive work environments.

NSAC was established with the intent of making the highest quality, evidence-based psychotherapy services to treat social anxiety available to those in need.
