Hi, I'm Eliana
I am a Master’s in Social Work candidate at Columbia University. I am a second year student specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Psychology from New York University.
A few words about me
Everyone is unique, and I believe therapy should reflect that. I work with clients to figure out their strengths, skills, and needs in order to collaboratively find the best therapeutic route for each individual.
I am committed to creating a space where you can safely explore and process your thoughts and feelings. Whether you are struggling with mental health, stress management, or just need someone to confide in, I aim to provide a collaborative and supportive environment that is tailored to your needs. Together, we can develop tools that remove barriers in your journey toward wellbeing.
Why I became a psychotherapist?
I believe that therapy is a powerful tool, and I have experienced its benefits firsthand. Therapy continues to change my life for the better, and grants me a sense of agency over my life and emotional processes. I have always been passionate about wellbeing and mental health, and I would like to use my skills as an empathetic listener and passion for evidence-based treatment to contribute to these in others. It is important to have a safe, open space where we can process our lives and feelings without judgment. It is not always easy to access these spaces in our lives, and it is my goal to provide this to my clients.
