Crisis Resources &
Scope of Care
At Chamin Ajjan. Psychotherapy, LCSW PLLC we are an outpatient private mental health and well-being practice offering therapy services for individuals, couples, groups and organizations. We operate by appointment only, Monday through Friday, with hours between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
Please note the following important information about the nature of our care:
-
We are not a crisis center and do not provide emergency or on-call services.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact a 24/7 crisis hotline such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. -
We do not provide higher levels of care, such as inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), or partial hospitalization programs (PHP). If a higher level of support is needed, we can offer referrals to appropriate services.
-
Becoming a client is not guaranteed following a consultation.
The initial consultation session is an opportunity to assess fit, availability, and clinical appropriateness. Ongoing therapy is scheduled only after mutual agreement and completion of intake documentation. -
Session availability may be limited.
While we strive to accommodate all clients promptly, scheduling is subject to clinician availability, and there may be wait times, particularly for sliding scale services or specific specialties. -
We are not available outside of business hours or on weekends.
Messages received during off-hours will be returned during regular business operations. We encourage clients to use scheduled appointments for non-emergency communication.
